December is here!

Other then the lack of snow we are in full swing into the Christmas season. We have been to our ward party and a Barker family party. Last night we went to see the light at Temple Square. Drew is loving all of it! He is kind of getting it this year. He knows that Christmas is Jesus' Birthday and that Santa will bring him presents if he is a good boy. That sums it up, I guess. He got to see Santa at the Barker party and he was sooo excited. He sat on his lap and told him he wanted an optimus prime, a bumble bee, and a helicopter. He was equally excited I think to see all the lights, the temple, and the baby Jesus. He is also into the tree, the Santa decrations, and the nativity scene. He likes to redecorate the tree everyday it is not looking so beautiful anymore, but he loves it.

One night I told Drew that if he did not go to bed that I was going to call Santa and tell him that he is not being a very good boy and to not bring him optimus prime. He looked over at a little stuffed Santa we have and whispered Santa, bring me optimus prime, basically saying ignore her she doesn't know what she is taking about.

His first glimpse of Santa

Jenn we were at Temple Square at the same time, too bad there were a million other people there or we might have ran into you! Drew is so cute, glad you are having a fun Christmas season!

I love the new template, very festive! Its so much fun when kids start getting Christmas. Its REALLY nice to have some leverage over them for one month out of the year.

Nothing like holding Santa over kids heads! Thanks for your help with the party!

It's all about bribing the kids with Santa. Drew is about the age when everything about Christmas is so magical and fun. It's fun to watch.

I'm afraid my kids have the same attitude about Santa as little Drew--Mom has no influence over Santa.
