HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY DREW!

Drew celebrated his 3rd birthday today I can't believe it has been 3 years already! He had a great day and is working on a week long party. On Saturday he got to go to Chucky E Cheese with his cousins and my family, today he played at the Treehouse Museum with his friends Logan and Rylee and went to lunch. Tonight he had his friends over for cake and ice cream and Saturday he will get to have more birthday fun with his Barker cousins. He is a pretty funny kid and loved every part of his fire truck party, he loves any kind of present as soon as his friends arrived he took the gift from them and opened it before anyone could even come in the house. One highlight included a late present brought by the mailman from Amazon that I was really relived made it just in time. Tonight as he was saying his prayers he was thankful for his friends, his party, his birthday, and the mailman for getting him that Iron man mask. I tried to clarify later that the gift was from me and Dean and that he just brought it for us, but I am pretty sure he thinks it is from him. So thank you mailman for getting it to us, even if you did leave it on my neighbors porch all day.

A few things Drew loves:
1. Being with his cousins and family
2. Playing with his friends
3. Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets
4. Any kind of snack
5. Watching movies
6. Playing with all his toys
7. Being outside, either riding his bike, his scooter, playing in the snow, at the park, playing baseball, or just running.
8. Presents!
9. Transformers, Super Heroes, Trucks, Cars, Motorcycles, and Animals
10. His Daddy! He ask everyday if he has to go to work, when Dean replies yes he says come back soon k dad.

A few things we love about Drew!
1. He makes us laugh all the time
2. He is easy to please he likes to do about anything, as long as it is fun
3. He loves to play with his mom and dad he is always asking us to do something with him. I know he doesn't have anyone else but still we are glad he likes us.
4. He loves to tease and make people laugh
5. He is sweet and gives great hugs and kisses

It's a little GIRL!!

Drew was right all along. Whenever we would ask him he almost always said a girl!! We are really excited. Dean thought it for sure was another boy and I think I really thought girl but didn't want to get my hopes up. I am very excited to have one of each! Everything looked great only 20 more weeks to go....

Love Day

We have been enjoying love month, it is also the month of Drew's birthday so he thinks it is all for that or that is it Christmas. He went to the bug ball at the library with his friends "big" Drew and Isaac. He dressed up as a caterpillar when I asked him if he knew what kind of bug he was he simply replied, a green one. Duh mom! Come to find out Drew is deathly afraid of bugs he would not even hold a gummy worm until I took a bite and said look it is candy, even then he was a little hesitant.

On Love day, as we are calling it, to help make a little sense we got a couple little presents from his grandma and some candy, then Dean and I gave him the movie Robots they were all just sitting on the table, not wrapped, nothing too exciting yet he asked, Mom is it Christmas?? He was pretty excited about love day I told him we tell our family how much we love them so he said Gracias Mom I love you.

To spend the snowy day we went with a group of friends snowshoeing up at Daniels Summit Lodge. Everyone left their kids at home with the exception of a couple babies, but we decided to take Drew along. He did great we were gone for about 2 hours and he thought it was a lot of fun to walk along and fall in all the deep powder snow. It was a beautiful snowy day and a perfect activity to spend the day together.

Not to pass up an opportunity to go out, we took Drew to my parents and went out to dinner and a movie for one of our three dates a year. Drew had a great time at Grandma's and pops as always when we got back around 10 he said no I don't want to go yet.

Drew's birthday is on Tuesday and he is very excited after much debate he has decided on a fire truck birthday, possibly persuaded by the awesome fire truck cake he has seen in the window at Days for the past few weeks. Almost as exciting, for me anyway, is Friday we get to find out boy or girl!! I am not patient person so I can't wait.

Heart cookies, he was actually a pretty good helper, he could cut them out all by himself.
