We have had a lot of fun this summer so far, and since Drew doesn't go to school for 3 years it doesn't end for us in a few weeks like almost everyone else. We have been to Meridian for Logan's blessing and the 4th of July. Over the 24th we went boating, hit Lagoon, shopping, a Bee's game, and the Tree house Museum. We went to the Rodeo and the Zoo and managed to get our fence and sandbox done! On the 24th I ran a 5k with some friends and I happen to take 2nd place. They wanted me to post a picture of my medal but I didn't take a camera, although it was in the Wasatch Wave.
Although the summer has brought some bad moments out of Drew he has discovered that it is much for fun to play with the neighbor kids then me, sad I know. However after he bit Issac twice in one day he has been spending more time with me. It was a rough few weeks he was just being mean and naughty. You know its bad when his nursery teacher asks how we discipline him.... It has been better lately he still does not go to bed before 10 but we are working on positive reinforcement :)
He did get a bike a few weeks ago he is only 2 1/2 so we were planning on getting him one for his birthday but he mastered the neighbor kids bikes and was the only one without one so he got one and a Lighting McQueen helmet. He looks so big when he rides it. I think even more exciting then that is the kid seat we put on the back of my bike, he loves it. We go somewhere everyday on it.
Dean has especially had a good summer. After the trip to Atlanta he called it the summer of Dean. He found out that he passed his professional engineering exam which is awesome! He studied a lot for it and he is just smart, so great job babe! Then he found out that he did not get his Wyoming deer tag like he was hoping so the summer of Dean could be over. Also he was called to be the Young Men's president.
