Christmas is Here!

This month as flown by of course, but now we have plenty of snow and the long awaited day is about to arrive. Drew is excited but he has no idea when the actual day is but everyday he asked about it. We haven't been doing much since we went to the lights but we have enjoyed staying home, playing in the snow, watching Christmas movies and getting ready for the big day. Drew has really taken a liking to singing Christmas songs, I really should video him doing it because it is really cute. He will at any given moment break out in Jingle Bells, Santa Claus is coming to town, or A way in a Manger, sometimes just parts of each and sometimes he can get a lot of the words right, he has been so fun this year! We are excited for him to see what Santa left.

I got an early Christmas present from Dean and our very nice friend Spencer. They finally tiled my bathroom Hooray!! He just finished it last night and I would be quite happy if that was my only gift, I love it. Thanks Babe!

December is here!

Other then the lack of snow we are in full swing into the Christmas season. We have been to our ward party and a Barker family party. Last night we went to see the light at Temple Square. Drew is loving all of it! He is kind of getting it this year. He knows that Christmas is Jesus' Birthday and that Santa will bring him presents if he is a good boy. That sums it up, I guess. He got to see Santa at the Barker party and he was sooo excited. He sat on his lap and told him he wanted an optimus prime, a bumble bee, and a helicopter. He was equally excited I think to see all the lights, the temple, and the baby Jesus. He is also into the tree, the Santa decrations, and the nativity scene. He likes to redecorate the tree everyday it is not looking so beautiful anymore, but he loves it.

One night I told Drew that if he did not go to bed that I was going to call Santa and tell him that he is not being a very good boy and to not bring him optimus prime. He looked over at a little stuffed Santa we have and whispered Santa, bring me optimus prime, basically saying ignore her she doesn't know what she is taking about.
